Refrigeration
Refrigeration is a broad scientific field used in various branches of industry, including food industry, catering, medicine and pharmacy. It includes equipment such as: refrigerators, freezers, refrigeration plants, chillers (ice water units) and any type of refrigeration systems.
The essence of the aforementioned equipment is to reduce the temperature of goods below the ambient temperature. Reducing the temperature of an object requires taking heat from it and transferring the heat to another object with an ambient temperature or temperature higher than ambient temperature. Various utilities, such as refrigerants and ice water, are used for this purpose.
