Commencement of the implementation of ISO/TS 22163:2017 (IRIS)

As of October 3, 2017, CNT Technical Repair Center has begun the implementation of the principles and certification of the IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard) system. This system defines specific requirements for the railway industry and is currently being introduced based on the ISO/TS 22163 standard.

ISO/TS 22163 specifies the requirements for a business management system for organizations involved in the design, development, production, maintenance (fleet maintenance, repairs, and modernization of components, as well as restoration) of products for the railway sector.

The IRIS certification scheme can be applied throughout the supply chain of products related to rail vehicles, railway traffic control, and infrastructure.
