WE OBTAINED ISO/TS 22163:2017 (IRIS) CERTIFICATION
We are pleased to inform you that we have received a positive evaluation following the ISO/TS 22163 (IRIS) certification audit, which took place from September 14 to September 17, 2019. The IRIS certificate confirms the highest standards of Company Management and the provision of services or production. Although the certificate is focused on the railway industry, many aspects are universal and demonstrate the quality of the Company. ISO/TS 22163 (IRIS) defines the requirements for a business management system for organizations involved in the design, development, production, maintenance (fleet maintenance, repairs and modernization of components, and servicing) of products for the railway sector.
THE AIM OF IRIS IS TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY AND RELIABILITY OF ROLLING STOCK, SIGNALING, AND INFRASTRUCTURE BY ENHANCING THE ENTIRE SUPPLY CHAIN. The IRIS certification scheme can be applied throughout the supply chain of products related to rail vehicles, railway traffic control, and infrastructure.
THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS is time-consuming and consists of several stages:
- Preliminary audit (optional) – analysis of discrepancies between the current situation and the required standard
- Certification audit:
- stage 1 – readiness review
- stage 2 – assessment of the implementation and effectiveness of the management system; upon satisfactory results, a certificate valid for 3 years is issued
- Surveillance audit – to check whether the management system continues to meet the requirements
- Recertification – after 3 years, to confirm ongoing compliance and effectiveness of the management system as a whole.
